Chemistry
Chemistry is a laboratory-based, college-preparatory course. This course is a combination of direct instruction, discussions, activities, demonstrations and laboratory exercises, which promote the understanding of the behavior of matter at the macroscopic and the nano/submicroscopic levels, as well as how this is represented symbolically. Chemical principles are introduced so that students will be able to explain the composition and chemical behavior of the world. They will also be trained in safety, the design of demonstrations, laboratories, and chemistry experiments.
