Hi class of 2023! It’s that time of year again; the National Honor Society is looking for new members! Read below to learn more about us and get all of the information for applications!
National Honor Society (NHS) is a service club recognized nationwide. The four NHS pillars, Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service, are qualities that we expect our members to embody throughout their time as members.
There are many benefits in joining the NHS. Not only does it provide opportunities to participate in volunteer events and receive recognition, but it also provides students with opportunities to grow socially and academically throughout their time as a member. Being an NHS member can help one stand out among other college applicants as well. A member who is active for three years and fulfills all requirements will be eligible for a graduation stole in their senior year. Active two year members who fulfill the requirements will still be eligible for a medal.
A meeting will be held over zoom to discuss more details about requirements and the application process. It is highly recommended that you attend this meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, October 7 2020 at 12:30 PM.
Applications will only be accepted digitally, through Google Forms. The forms can be found in the drive folder (attached below) or on our website in the ‘Incoming Applicants 2020-21’ tab. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 23, 2020.
