Academic Decathlon

Academic Decathlon (or Acadec) is an academic competition. Students compete in the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Regional Competition. There are ten events: art, economics, essay, interview, literature, math, music, science, social science, and speech. Students meet after school during every school day. 7th period is from 3:04 pm to 4:00 pm.
 
For the 2020-2021 School Year, these are the GPA brackets.
  • Honors - 3.800 to 4.000
  • Scholastic - 3.200 to 3.799
  • Varsity - 0 to 3.199
