The California Scholarship Federation, Inc. (CSF) is a nonprofit organization whose mission
is to recognize and encourage academic achievement among high school students in California.
The benefits of becoming a CSF life member are recognition during the graduation ceremony
and an indication of CSF life membership status on permanent academic records and
transcripts, which may help students stand out among other college applicants. In short, CSF
recognizes students for their outstanding academic performance.
➢ To apply for CSF membership please pick up an application from the Business &
Activities Office, complete the application and attach last semester’s report card or
official transcript ONLY, and pay the CSF fee at the student bank.

The following is information on how to become a CSF Life Member. A CSF member with 4
semesters of CSF membership, during students’ last 6 semesters of high school (10th, 11th,
12th academic grades) with at least one semester using senior grades, will qualify to be CSF
Life Member, and therefore will be eligible for a graduation stole and cord senior year. Academic
grades earned in the 9th grade qualify a student to be an associate member for the semester.
Grades earned in the 9th grade DO NOT count toward Life Member eligibility.
