The Washington Post Reports On Diversity in Education with an SGHS Teacher Covered In the Story

The Washington Post news organization has focused on a story about diversity in education. Virginia Parra, who is one of our English teachers, was one of just-a-few educators to be highlighted. The section about Mrs. Parra speaks of her success with helping students of color reach new academic heights. Our students and staff do extraordinary work, and this is just one example of our educational approach to servicing the academic needs of our diverse student population. Enjoy!
