Drop-offs and Pick-Ups

We want to ensure the safety of all of our students and families during drop-off and pick-up time. Please be aware of the following:
1. If using the parking, please do not exceed 5 miles per hour. Any student being dropped off after the 8:00 bell must check in at the gate.
2. Please do not make U-Turns on Ramona. We have had many near miss accidents. It is also illegal and we do not want our parents being ticketed.
3. Please do not use the bus loading zone as a turnaround. If the police observe cars using the bus turnaround, the fine is excess of 900 dollars. We do not want anyone to get a ticket.
4. When picking-up/dropping off students in the community, please do not block residential driveways. Also, please make sure your student knows not to stand on people's private property.

Being in the middle of a community has its challenges. We want to be good neighbors and safe students/families. Thank you!

Buses Transportation Home

Due to the fact we have more students staying on campus than ever before, we are having an issue with being able to take all students home at 5:15 p.m. We are very happy to have so many students active. It is our goal for everyone to participate. However, we cannot add buses. We are asking students if they are done with their activities by 4:10 to please take the 4:15 buses. This will help save room for those students needing to take buses at 5:15. Thank you for your assistance.

School Clubs and Co-curricular Activities

We offer may clubs and activities for the students of San Gabriel High School to enjoy. We also offer many sports during each of the three athletic season. By clicking on this link, you will see a full list of our clubs and activities at SGHS. We have also included the name of the adviser for each club and activity.
IMPORTANT: No SGHS Club or Activity requires any type of initiation or hazing. In other words, no student should have to behave or act in a way, or be subject to any acts, that may cause emotional or physical discomfort or harm. Hazing is a direct violation of California Education Code 48900 and is subject to possible suspension, expulsion, and/or arrest depending on the severity of the hazing. If you feel your student is being hazed, please call me immediately at 626-308-2352. Sincerely, Jim Schofield
