Welcome to San Gabriel High School Athletics, Home of the Matadors!  At San Gabriel High School we believe that athletics are an integral part of the educational experience.  Participation in sports is voluntary and we strive to develop well-rounded “student-athletes” rather than just athletes.  San Gabriel High School offers a full complement of varsity and lower-level interscholastic sports programs during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.  We compete in 18 different sports for both girls and boys.  Our school is part of the Almont League and a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF-SS), Southern Section.

*Having medical insurance is mandatory to participate in Athletics at SG. If you do not have your own insurance you can purchase a policy for the school year from Myers-Stevens. Here is the link:  https://www.myers-stevens.com/parents/

(The zip code you will use is the district zip code of 91801 and then you would select San Gabriel High School.  The insurance plan you would select is the School Time Accident Plan. If you are playing football however you would need to purchase the Tackle Football plan. This option is only if you do not have your own medical insurance policy.)
